Synagogue Holds Walk for Israel Charity Fund-Raiser

Sunny skies and cool weather aided walkers from Caldwell's Congregation Agudath Israel of West Essex Sunday morning for the 10th annual charity Walk for Israel.

Walkers began their trek from the synagogue at 20 Academy Road down Bloomfield Avenue and through Grover Cleveland Park before returning to the synagogue.

The walk raises funds for programs, including funds for Ethiopian Jews resettling in Israel, raising funds for tuition for children in the French Hill section of Jerusalem, as well as raising money for needy children to participate in NOAM, a peer-led youth movement, among other charities.
