Toy, Coat Drive At Essex County College’s West Caldwell Campus

The West Essex campus of Essex County College is holding its annual Toy and Coat Drive for the 2024 holiday season. The drive runs through Friday, December 20, 2024.

Collection boxes are located in the main lobby of the campus, 730 Bloomfield Avenue, West Caldwell.

Campus officials invite students, staff, faculty, and the community to donate new, unwrapped toys and gently used or new coats for children and adults. All donations will be distributed to local shelters, community centers, and partner organizations that serve underprivileged families in Essex County.

“Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. We’re honored to collaborate with our campus community and local partners to bring warmth and joy to families in need during the holiday season. This is a cherished tradition I’m pleased that we can offer to the community,” stated Dr. Elvy M. Vieira, Dean of Community, Continuing Education, Workforce Development and the West Essex Campus.

“Let’s come together as a community to make this holiday season brighter for everyone,” said Dr. Vieira.
