Trinity Academy Students To Present 'Shrek' Musical
The Trinity Academy Drama Club will be presenting Shrek The Musical Jr on Apr 6 & 7 at 7:30 PM.
From The Trinity Academy Drama Club: The Trinity Academy Drama Club will present Shrek The Musical JR. on Thursday, April 6, and Friday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m., in the Trinity Academy Gymnasium at 235 Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell.
Tickets will be available at the door for $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors.
According to a school news release, the production is based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and the book Shrek by William Steig. It follows the adventures of an ogre named Shrek who sets off on a quest to save a princess from a dragon. However, it turns out that in order to ultimately succeed, Shrek must battle an even bigger obstacle: learning how to believe in himself and open his heart to others.
Under the direction of Mrs. Kelly King, this is Trinity Academy's 24th drama production.
