West Caldwell Elementary Students Deliver Valentine's Cards to Retirement Community
A group of Washington Elementary School students delivered handmade cards to nearly 60 retired residents.

Students from Washington Elementary School’s K-Kids Club delivered handmade Valentine’s Day cards to nearly 60 residents at Crane’s Mill Continuing Care Retirement Community on Friday, Feb. 13.
The K-Kids Clubs youth service groups, sponsored by the local Kiwanis of Caldwell-West Essex, have been established in each Caldwell-West Caldwell elementary school, according to Caldwell-West Caldwell Public School officials. The K-Kids Clubs involving younger students in the investigation and planning stages of service projects to have an even bigger impact on the community.
According to school officials, younger students in the K-Kids Clubs learn about the investigation and planning stages of community service projects, in order to have an even bigger impact on the community.
