West Caldwell Police Get Complaints About Parking Near High School
Don't park on this local street during school days, West Caldwell authorities say.
WEST CALDWELL, NJ — The West Caldwell Police Department has issued a reminder for local drivers after getting complaints about people parking near James Caldwell High School.
Police issued the following advisory on Thursday:
“The West Caldwell Police Department has received multiple complaints of drivers parking between #27 and #54 Park Street on school days. The West Caldwell local ordinances prohibit parking in this area of Park Street on school days from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. As a friendly reminder, please refrain from parking in this area.”
“Students can be dropped off and picked up students on JCHS property by entering from Lane Avenue onto Woodmere Road, or by parking outside of the area in red on the attached image,” police said, sharing an overhead photo of the street.

“Thank you for your anticipated cooperation in order to keep our students safe as they walk to and from school,” police added.
