West Caldwell Stop and Shop Recalls Ian's Panko Bread Crumbs

Allergic to wheat? You should know it's in Ian's brand of panko bread crumbs. The voluntary recall is happening at all Stop and Shops.

Stop & Shop announced Tuesday that it’s removing Ian’s All Natural Panko Breadcrumbs from the shelves because the product container states that the bread crumbs are “allergy friendly” but still contain wheat.

Some people have an allergy to wheat (if you don’t have that allergy, you won’t have a problem with the bread crumbs, Stop & Shop said in its announcement).

The company said this product is specifically “included in the recall”: Ian’s All Natural Italian Style Panko Bread Crumbs, 9 oz., UPC 74951277220 with an expiration date of 31MAY15, 11OCT15 & 17OCT15
