West Essex High Students to Serve on Congress Youth Advisory Council

North Caldwell seniors Patrick Glenn and Isabelle Caine will represent West Essex as members of Congressman Frelinghuyesen's youth council.

West Essex High School seniors Patrick Glenn and Isabelle Caine have been selected to represent West Essex as members of the Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen Youth Advisory Council.

Patrick and Isabelle residents of North Caldwell. High School Guidance Counselor Janet VanSyckle expressed that Patrick and Isabelle “will have the chance to observe government in action.”

Last year, the students selected toured the Office of the FBI and met with a secret service agent. West Essex High School Principal Gary Suda stated that Patrick and Isabelle were selected because they are “young student leaders” who will represent West Essex well.

“I am really excited to give my input and share my ideas with the Youth Advisory Council,” Isabelle, who is also the treasurer for the class of 2016, said.

“I am thankful for the opportunity to observe government in action,” Patrick expressed.
