Art League of the Chathams Displays Work at Borough Hall
Annual exhibition can be viewed weekdays during business hours on the upper floor of the municipal building.
Members of the Art League of the Chathams are participating in the annual exhibition at Chatham Borough Hall.
Five members of the Art League are participating in the show, which began last month and runs through Friday, May 23. The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular weekday business hours of Borough Hall, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibition is being shown on the upper floor of the building.
Membership in the league is open to all residents of the Chathams and near-by towns who are artists or who wish to support local artists as patrons. Dues are $20 per year for single members and $30 per year for patrons or families.
Member workshops are usually held at the Chatham Township Municipal Building's community room or in the Library of the Chathams. These sessions are held so members may work together with the intent of discussing mutual problems and ideas, to learn new techniques and to get professional criticism. Most of these are open to the public.
