Essex Water Color Club, New Jersey's oldest watercolor organization, was founded by 27 artists in 1932 to meet, teach, share ideas, discuss techniques and exhibit their work. Today, their membership of over 70 represents watercolor artists of all abilities from across the entire state of New Jersey.
The art on display is for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the library.
The opening reception is sponsored by Friends of the Library. Everyone is invited to attend.

Do you like smiling, laughing, and interacting with friendly folks while getting some healthy exercise? Contra dancing might be for you! Contra dancing is a fun, easy-to-learn style of social dance in a supportive, inter-generational, inclusive community. It’s the cool cousin to square dancing—with hot bands. A hot band is exactly what we have for this dance with Bosnick &amp; Bittel playing with Donna Hunt calling.
If you are new to contra dancing, come for our evening dance on any first and third Saturday evening. Knowing how to dance is not necessary since the caller prompts the moves and guides the dancers. A workshop is given at 7pm prior to the dance to learn basic terminology and some of the dance moves. Pack plenty of smiles!

Supporting the Red Cross helps fulfill its mission by ensuring the availability of a safe and reliable blood supply needed to save lives. You may sign up at the following link provided by the Red Cross. Walk-ins are also accommodated as possible. However, we strongly recommend signing up to guarantee your spot to donate.
Blood donors get an exclusive long-sleeved Red Cross T-shirt, while supplies last!
