CHATHAM, NJ - A global pandemic is not stopping the Chatham Jaycees from opening their tree sale lot for the 53rd year at the corner of Main Street and Brooklake Road on Nov. 22.

In addition to ensuring the safety of all in-person shoppers, the Chatham Jaycees will offer online ordering to have your tree delivered straight to your front door, organizers said

For those coming in-person, the Chatham Jaycees will take the following COVID-19 precautions to ensure the safety of all community members:

Those that prefer to order a tree from the comfort of their home, the Chatham Jaycees are offering a 100 percent no-contact ordering method. Those interested can email jayceestreesale@gmail.com and they will receive an email back of the current tree availability.

From that list, they may select tree type, height, and delivery date. They will also receive a Venmo/PayPal account to forward payment to.

Chatham Jaycee volunteers may deliver trees up to your doorstep but to protect volunteers, they will not be able to offer in-home set-up.

Past recipients include the Chatham Education Foundation, Chatham Emergency Squad, Chatham Fire Department, Chatham Community Garden, and more. In addition, they provide a major scholarship for a graduating Chatham High School senior.
