Chatham Schools Closed Due to Winter Storm
Winter weather cancels classes for the second time this week.
Chatham schools will have a second snow day this week on Wednesday.
The district made the announcement as up to 8 inches of snow and as much as a half-inch of ice is possible by Wednesday evening.
The schools closed Monday after nearly 10 inches of snow fell.
The latest storm is expected to cause "dangerous" travel conditions and potential power outages as heavy snow turns to ice.
