Chatham Students Sign College Commitment Letters

Students pledged to play for Division I and Division II schools.

CHATHAM, NJ - Chatham High School hosted an Initial Signing Day for Division I and Division II student-athletes who have made their commitments to their schools of choice on Nov. 11.

The following students will play lacrosse at their respective schools:

  • Griffin Kology will attend the University of Richmond
  • Callie and Haley Riabov will attend Dartmouth University
  • Ashley Smith will attend American University, and Sophie Straka will attend Yale University
  • Sara Barrett will swim for Yale University.
  • Filippa Bruu-Syversen will play tennis for the University of California at Santa Barbara.
  • Cole Ekert will attend the University of Richmond and play golf.
  • Elizabeth Droner will attend Purdue University and play soccer.
  • Charlotte Hamilton will attend Colgate University and play field hockey.
  • Kailing Sathyanath will fence for Northwestern University.

“I am honored to represent these outstanding student-athletes as the Director of Athletics at Chatham High School. Their accomplishments are nothing short of exemplary, which they have proven in the classroom and on the court, course, pool, and field," Chatham’s Director of Athletics Mo Abdelaziz said. "I would like to wish them all nothing but greatness as they venture into their next chapter as collegiate student-athletes across the country representing Chatham High School and the community at large."
