The "Celebrating Our Stars Under the Stars" award was created to honor Girl Scout volunteers for their outstanding work and to express our gratitude and appreciation for all they do for the Girl Scout movement.

Blumenfeld, Chatham's oldest living Girl Scout, is 94 years old and enjoyed sharing stories about being a charter member of Girl Scout Troop 28 and their community service activities.
