Police To Hold 'Coffee With A Cop' Outreach Event In Chatham

The event is being held on Friday in order to strengthen ties with the community.

CHATHAM, NJ — Interested in talking with members of the Chatham Borough police about your concerns about the borough? Want to meet some of the officers who police the community?

The Chatham Borough Police Department is holding its Coffee with a Cop get-together at the Fleur de Sel on Friday morning.

The event will take place on Friday, Mar. 10 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Fleur de Sel, a French patisserie and bistro located at 265 Main Street in Chatham.

The Chatham Borough police hold the Coffee with a Cop get-together regularly to offer residents an opportunity to talk with officers.

Coffee With a Cop is a nationwide initiative that connects police officers with members of the communities they serve, allowing both parties to talk and learn more about one another by removing agendas and providing opportunities to ask questions.
