1 Injured In Early-Morning South Jersey House Fire, Officials Say

Firefighters were able to rescue one person​ from the home, a report said.

CAMDEN, NJ — An early-morning house fire Tuesday in Camden sent one resident to the hospital and caused the home to partially collapse, reports said.

The fire broke out in a two-story house near the intersection of Saunders and North 27th Streets around 4:30 a.m.

Firefighters were able to rescue a person from the home, and later transported them to a nearby hospital for smoke inhalation, 6ABC reported.

Officials later told 6ABC that the intensity of the fire caused the second floor to collapse onto the first.
