Severe Thunderstorm Warning With Heavy Winds, Hail Hits South Jersey
The warning is in effect until 3:45 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for a large swath of South Jersey on Friday afternoon.
Showers and 60 mph wind gusts are expected to move through the region, according to the National Weather Service. Pea-sized hail is also possible.

Impacted regions include almost all of Camden and Burlington counties and a portion of Gloucester County, while stretching up through most of Central Jersey and some of eastern Pennsylvania.
Damage to roofs, trees and power lines are possible, according to the National Weather Service.

The warning was issued just before 3 p.m., when 61 mph gusts were recorded at Philadelphia International Airport. Damaging winds are moving eastward at around 50 mph, officials said.
