The 15 Safest Big Towns In New Jersey; South Jersey Communities On List
We were curious where we might find the safest large towns, so we dove into state police crime reports from 2011 and 2012 to find the towns with more than 40,000 that also had the lowest violent crime rates.
Evesham, Mount Laurel and other South Jersey towns are on a list of the safest big towns in New Jersey.
A couple of weeks ago we brought you the 15 Most Dangerous Small Towns in New Jersey. We were curious where we might find the safest large towns, so we dove into state police crime reports from 2011 and 2012 to find the towns with more than 40,000 people that also had the lowest violent crime rates.
The rate below represents the average violent crime rate from those two years, without regard for the types of crime.
