4-Vehicle Turnpike Crash Injuries At Least 1, Police Say

At least one person was hurt in a multi-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike in Cherry Hill Wednesday morning, State Police said.

Two cars and two tractor-trailers were involved in the wreck, which left one of the trucks flipped and blocking the right lane near mile marker 29.9 just before 9 a.m., police said.

One person was reported to have serious injuries, police said, and a medical helicopter had been called to the scene.

Major delays in the area are expected for some time, police said.

Speed restrictions are also in place because of road conditions.
