PrimoHoagies Aids 'Urgent Need' For Large Dog Adoptions In Gloucester Twp.
Homeward Bound is seeing a sharp increase in dogs coming into the shelter. PrimoHoagies is sponsoring adoption fees to help.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — As many dogs at a Camden County animal shelter seek a forever home, PrimoHoagies has stepped in to help this holiday season.
Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center in Blackwood has an "urgent need" for dog adoptions — especially large dogs — says Ken Sieranski, the organization's executive director.
Dog intake at the open-admission shelter has increased 34 percent in the past three years. That's over 400 more lost and homeless dogs this year than in 2022. But because of increased intake, many homeless dogs must live in kennels for months as they await a forever home.

To help the cause, PrimoHoagies is sponsoring all large-dog adoption fees at Homeward Bound. Sponsorships run this week from Tuesday through Sunday.
"The PrimoHoagies team are true animal lovers," Sieranski said, "and we couldn’t be more grateful for their partnership in helping to get as many dogs as possible out of their kennels and home with a family by Christmas."
