Alleged Burglar May Have Been Squatter, Police Say
A neighbor called in an alleged burglary last week, but officers say there was more to it.

A report of a burglary on Beechwood Avenue last week may have been the work of a squatter in a vacant home, Cherry Hill Police said.
Officers responded to a home in the 700 block of Beechwood on Oct. 6, just after 6 p.m., after a neighbor reported a man trying to force his way in a back door, police said.
The neighbor confronted the man, described as a white man in his 30s, with gray hair, wearing a gray T-shirt and khaki shorts, who claimed he was considering buying the house, police said.
