Cherry Hill East Girls Volleyball Falls to Ridge
The Cougars were bounced from the Group 4 playoffs.

If Cherry Hill East was worried about starting off slow after a 90-minute ride north to Ridge High School for the second round of the Group 4 girls volleyball playoffs, the Cougars erased that right off the bat.
But a 25-20 win in the opening game wasn’t enough, as Ridge bounced back to win two straight and edge the Cougars, who bowed out of the playoffs with the 2-1 loss Friday.
East charged back from a 16-9 deficit in the third game to make things interesting, but went down, 25-22.

East’s Chelsea Campbell (12 kills) and Natalia Majkut (11) were a formidable one-two punch for the Cougars, but Ridge answered with Stephanie Occhiogrosso, who had 17 kills of her own, and seven aces from five different players to help notch the victory.
The Cougars also got 23 assists from Aliyah Godwin and six digs from Megan Sooy.
