Cherry Hill Man Had Heroin in Marlton, Police Say
A Browns Mills woman was also arrested, as officers found heroin in the course of two car stops, police said.

A Cherry Hill man and a Browns Mills woman were arrested on drug charges after being caught with heroin following two car stops in Marlton Tuesday, Evesham Township Police said.
William Lafty, 40, and Rachel Rilling, 21, were arrested about two hours apart in stops on Route 73 and Route 70, when Evesham K-9 Ciko hit on drugs in both cars, police said.
Lafty was driving carelessly on Route 73 when he was stopped just before 11 a.m., police said, and Ciko was called in to check for drugs. The dog alerted officers after checking the outside of the car, and they found heroin inside, police said.

Lafty was charged with third-degree possession of heroin and released on his own recognizance.
Earlier in the morning, officers stopped Rilling on Route 70 after she tailgated another car, police said, and Ciko was again called in for drugs.

Another positive hit led to officers finding 11 bags of heroin in Rilling’s car, police said, and she was charged with third-degree possession of heroin and released on her own recognizance.
