Cherry Hill Mom's Strength, Determination Aided Stroke Recovery
Patch and T-Mobile are partnering to shine a light on awesome moms in the Cherry Hill area. Meet Heather.

CHERRY HILL, NJ— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.
This submission comes from Emma Tyter who nominated Heather of Cherry Hill.
What makes your mom extra special?
My mother survived a brain stem stroke at age 32! At that time my mother enjoyed her career as a hospice nurse. She was disabled from work from the stroke, and no longer able to drive due to new vision deficits from the stroke. She had to learn how to walk again and underwent extensive neurological therapy to get to where she could finally come home back to her three children.
Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?
My mom persevered through all of her health issues, and still does! She goes above and beyond for her entire family and her granddaughter Addison! She still gets to the grocery store to do the family food shopping, she still helps all of us in so many ways. She is so strong and I want her to know how admirable her strength is. She is amazing!
Happy Mother's Day to Heather, and thank you for all you do!
