Restaurant Offers Discounted Meal If You Sing Karaoke Outside Its Cherry Hill Location

A Cherry Hill restaurant is giving customers the chance to step up to the mic and sing like their half-off lunch depends on it.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Want to save on lunch? On Friday, a Cherry Hill restaurant will let you sing for it.

Panda Express in Cherry Hill is hosting a "Sing for Your Shrimp" karaoke challenge. From 12-2 p.m. Friday, guests can receive half-off their order if they step up to the mic and sing outside the restaurant.

Guests must select a song from a curated list of "feel-good hits" and sing for 30 seconds under the Panda Express tent to receive 50 percent off their order. Discounts of up to $15 are available.

Throughout the event, participants will also receive a voucher for a free small entrée with any plate purchase for their next visit.

The offer is only valid Friday at the Cherry Hill location.

Panda Express is holding the event to celebrate the return of its Wok-Fired Shrimp, which consists of "large, marinated shrimp, string beans, red bell peppers, and onions, all wok-tossed in a sweet, savory, and spicy sauce made with Chiu Chow-style chilis," the restaurant says.

The restaurant is located at 500 Route 38.
