CHERRY HILL, NJ — The Cherry Hill Public School District Board of Education is looking to fill a vacant seat on its board early next year, the district announced on its website. The seat is being vacated by Carol Matlack.

Interested applicants should send a letter of interest and resume to Assistant Superintendent Business/Board Secretary Lynn Shugars, 45 Ranoldo Terrace, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or lshugars@chclc.org by 4 pm on Jan. 13, 2022.

The board of education will discuss the applicants during an executive session on Jan. 18. At that time, it will select applicants to interview.

Interviews will take place in public before the board’s Jan. 25 meeting. They will take place in the form of a “candidate forum.”

The board will deliberate in executive session, and the new board member will be appointed at the Feb. 8 meeting.
