1st Day Of School In Cherry Hill: Dates To Know For The Upcoming School Year

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Students will return to Cherry Hill's classrooms in just a few weeks. As the summer winds down, here are some dates to know for the 2024-25 school year in the Cherry Hill School District.

• Sept. 3: first day of school for students and staff (early dismissal for elementary).
• Oct. 3-4: Rosh Hashanah, no school.
• Nov. 1: Diwali, teacher inservice day.
• Nov. 7-8: New Jersey Education Association convention, no school.
• Nov. 27: early dismissal for Thanksgiving recess.
• Dec. 13: early dismissal for students.
• Dec. 21 through Jan. 1: winter break, no school.
