First Day Of School In Cherry Hill: Key Dates To Know For The Upcoming School Year
Before you know it, school will be back in session. Here are some important dates to highlight for the upcoming school year.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — There's still plenty of summer left to enjoy, but Cherry Hill students will return to class in just a few weeks.
Here are some key dates to know as the 2025-26 school year gets closer:
- Sept. 2: first day of school (early dismissal for PreK-5).
- Sept. 23-24: Rosh Hashanah, no school.
- Oct. 2: Yom Kippur, no school.
- Oct. 20: Diwali, in-service day (no school for students).
- Nov. 6-7: New Jersey Education Association convention, no school.
- Nov. 26: day before Thanksgiving, early dismissal.
- Nov. 27-28: Thanksgiving break.
- Dec. 12: early dismissal for students, full day for staff.
- Dec. 23: early dismissal.
- Dec. 24 through Jan. 4: winter break.
