Cherry Hill Schools Phone, Internet Service Restored

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Phone and Internet service in the Cherry Hill Public School District have been restored after the district announced those services were out earlier in the morning.

"Internet and phone service has been restored at the Cherry Hill Public Schools," the district said in an email just before 9:30 a.m. "We thank you for your patience."

Earlier in the day, the district had sent an email that read: "Please note that the Cherry Hill Public Schools are experiencing a widespread outage of internet and phone service. Technicians are working to fix the problem. We will notify the community as we receive updates. Thank you."

A widespread Xfinity outage has been reported across New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and as far west as California.
