Crash On Ben Franklin Bridge Delays Traffic Ahead Of Rush Hour

CAMDEN, NJ — Delays are expected on the Benjamin Franklin Bridge after a crash ahead of Friday evening's rush hour, officials said.

Only two westbound lanes are open, while the speed limit has been cut to 25 mph as of this writing, according to the Delaware River Port Authority.

Westbound traffic on the bridge travels from Camden to Philadelphia.

"Expect possible delays," the DRPA said around 4:15 p.m.

Additional information on the crash wasn't immediately available.

The Ben Franklin Bridge gets especially busy on summer Friday afternoons, when many travelers head to the Jersey Shore for weekend getaways.
