Vehicle Strikes Pole, Closing Roadway In Cherry Hill: Police

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A vehicle struck a utility pole Friday in Cherry Hill, officials told Patch.

It happened on Burnt Mill Road near Seventh Avenue. The crash resulted in minor injuries, according to Cherry Hill Police Cpt. Sheldon Bryant.

At around 3 p.m., Bryant told Patch that Burnt Mill Road is expected to remain closed for several hours. Police reported the crash about an hour earlier.

Utility crews are repairing and replacing the damaged pole.

Photos from the Cherry Hill Fire Department show a car on its side on Burnt Mill Road. The agency said they were on-scene for a crash with a rescue assignment.
