CHERRY HILL, NJ — A former bank in Cherry Hill could become a Dunkin' Donuts under a proposal up for local officials' approval.

The Dunkin' would replace the shuttered Fulton Bank on Route 70, according to a public noticed published Monday in the Courier-Post. The proposal is scheduled for a hearing at Dec. 15's Planning Board meeting.

Located at Route 70 (Marlton Pike) and Frontage Road, the property once contained a Republic First Bank. It became a Fulton Bank when federal regulators shut down Republic Bank, but Fulton closed the branch last year.

The listed applicant, South Jersey Management LLC, will maintain the building's footprint and two-lane drive-thru, according to the public notice.

The property (1460 Route 70) is right off the cloverleaf interchange linking Route 70 and Interstate 295. The closest Dunkin' is about a mile away at Route 70 and Greentree Rd.
