Eagles Super Bowl Champ To Rally Fans In Camden

Corey Clement, part of the 'Philly Special' that lifted the Philadelphia Eagles to a title, will join fans ahead of Super Bowl LIX.

CAMDEN, NJ — Former Philadelphia Eagle Corey Clement will join a pep rally for the Birds this weekend in his native South Jersey.

Battleship New Jersey is holding the Eagles pep rally from 12-2 p.m. Sunday aboard the ship along the Camden waterfront.

A Glassboro native, Clement cemented himself in Eagles history as part of the "Philly Special" during the team's Super Bowl victory in 2018. The running back took the direct snap and pitched the ball to Trey Burton, who threw it to quarterback Nick Foles for a wide-open touchdown against the New England Patriots.

There will also be raffles, live music and other family-friendly fun.

Proceeds support the Battleship New Jersey Museum & Memorial (100 Clinton St., Camden). Click here for tickets.

Super Bowl LIX kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9 on Fox.
