Evesham Township Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who stole $100 out of a cashier's hand during a diversion scam last week.
The unidentified man pulled the scam at Hallmark on North Maple Avenue around 5:30 p.m. Nov. 4, police said, and was caught on surveillance footage at the counter.
Police described him as a heavyset, middle-aged black man wearing a dark jacket and a blue checked shirt.

Anyone who recognizes the individual is asked to contact Evesham Police at 856-983-1116, call the confidential tip line at 856-983-4699 or email the information to Facebook@Eveshampd.org. Anonymous tips can also be texted; text ETPDTIP and the tip to 847411.
