Facebook Tips Catch Alleged Marlton Shoplifters
Information received after officers posted surveillance photos led to two arrests, police said.

Evesham Township officers got a boost from social media, scoring Facebook tips to help arrest a pair accused of shoplifting at Walmart on Route 70 last month, police said.
Robert Allen, 28, of Vincentown, and Kendra Tancredi, 20, of Bristol, PA, were spotted in surveillance footage after using bolt cutters to cut a security line tethering a laptop to a display counter, police said, but ditched the computer and ran when confronted by store security.
A few days after the incident, Evesham Police dropped a photo of the two along with information about the crime on to the department's Facebook page, which resulted in tips that identified both Allen and Tancredi, and further tips that helped determine where the two were located, police said.
