The actor was accused of inappropriately touching several women in the township.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Famous actor Gary Busey was sentenced to probation Thursday for sexual misconduct at a horror-film convention in Cherry Hill.
Busey, 81, was accused of five women with whom he was taking pictures at Monster-Mania Con three years ago.
In July, he pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, getting his four other related charges dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

At the hearing, Busey's attorney asked the judge to sentence him to fines only, citing the actor's age, health issues and residence across the country, according to 6abc Action News.
But Judge Gwendolyn Blue ordered probation because of the seriousness of the offense and Busey's prior legal troubles.
Busey served probationary terms for trespass and disorderly conduct/fighting in 2007 and for a hit-and-run accident in 2021, according to the Courier-Post.
As part of the plea agreement, Busey's other charges — three other counts of criminal sexual contact and one count of attempted criminal sexual contact — were dismissed.
"It was a minor incident, and four of the charges have been dismissed," Busey's attorney, Blair R. Zwillman, told Patch last month. "He's planning to put it behind him."
