'High Visibility Patrols' Will Be Part Of Cherry Hill West Home Football Games
Law enforcement officials will also be at the games for "investigative purposes," Cherry Hill's Police Chief said.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Cherry Hill High School West's home football game against Paul VI of Haddonfield on Sept. 9, and every home football game after that, will have "high visibility patrols" conducted by the Cherry Hill Police Department, the police chief said.
Law enforcement officials will also be at the Cherry Hill High School West home football games for "investigative purposes to identify and address any potential threats at our schools," Cherry Hill Police Chief Robert Kempf told Patch last week.
The Cherry Hill School District police officers will join the Cherry Hill Police Department in the two-pronged effort, he added.

Kempf's comments came as the first anniversary of a shooting in a residential area near the Cherry High School West football complex during a football game against Bridgeton approached.
The investigation into that Oct. 1, 2021, shooting remained active, ongoing and unsolved at the time of the interview, according to Kempf.
