Man Arrested In Cherry Hill Linked To Bank Robberies In 2 Towns
Michael Rowan, 33 of Wenonah, is accused of robbing banks in Cherry Hill and Glassboro, police said.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — A Gloucester County man arrested in Cherry Hill has been linked to bank robberies in two South Jersey towns, according to police.
Michael Rowan, 33 of Wenonah, has been charged in connection with bank robberies in Cherry Hill and Glassboro, according to Glassboro police.
He is accused of robbing the Investors Bank in Glassboro on July 30, police said. In that incident, police said he walked into the bank wearing sunglasses, face mask, gloves, bright orange shirt, and yellow safety vest.

Rowan wrote out a withdrawal slip and took it over to the teller, but also handed over a note demanding money, police said. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, he left the bank in a 4-door Infinity sedan with a possible temporary tag in the rear of the vehicle, police said.
The note read, “no screaming,” and he robbed the bank of $1,690, nj.com reports.

He is also accused of robbing an Investors Bank in Cherry Hill on Aug. 28, police said. Cherry Hill police arrested Rowan, and obtained a full confession, police said. He and his vehicle matched the descriptions provided in the Glassboro robbery, police said.
Glassboro police then interviewed Rowan, and were able to obtain a full confession, police said.
Rowan has been charged with robbery, and is incarcerated in Camden County Jail.
