CHERRY HILL, NJ — A man was arrested minutes after he robbed a bank Thursday in Cherry Hill, authorities said.

The suspect, later identified as Nathaniel Stroud Jr., robbed TD Bank on Grove Street around 4:35 p.m. Thursday, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. He wrote a demand note on a deposit slip, passed it to the teller, and then fled on foot with the money, authorities said.

About 15 minutes later, police found a man who resembled the suspect description on the 700 block of Grove Street — a residential area a few blocks away from the bank. Stroud had the stolen money on him, and the outfit he wore during the robbery was found in a nearby trash can, authorities said.
