Man Struck, Killed On Cherry Hill Roadway: Police
Authorities identified the victim as a 51-year-old Cherry Hill resident.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — A man was struck and killed while crossing the street Monday night in Cherry Hill, authorities said.
Police identified the deceased victim as Gerald S. Yashinsky Jr., 51, of Cherry Hill.
The crash happened around 6:40 p.m. on Haddonfield Road by Yale Avenue. A northbound vehicle struck Yashinsky while he was crossing Haddonfield Road, police said. He was later pronounced dead.

The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, police said. No other injuries were reported.
"We extend our condolences to the family and loved ones of the victim as this investigation continues," the Cherry Hill Police Department said in a statement.

Haddonfield Road was temporarily closed in both directions.
