CHERRY HILL, NJ — National Night Out is almost here, promising an evening of family fun in a tradition designed to strengthen bonds between police and the communities they serve.

Cherry Hill's free celebration will take place from 6-8:30 p.m. Aug. 1 at Memorial Field (behind Town Hall). The event will include demonstrations, music, games, food and prizes.

The rain date is Aug. 3.
