CHERRY HILL, NJ — Cherry Hill residents will soon be asked to eat mor chikin. Chick-fil-A has an application set to go before the planning board on Dec. 6 to build another restaurant in Cherry Hill.

The fast food chain is requesting an expansion and modification of the existing medical office parking lot at 2230-2240 Route 70 West in Cherry Hill, according to the agenda for the next meeting posted on the township website.

It is also seeking various site, circulation, building façade, and signage improvements on the property.

The outdoor expansion would be necessary because Chick-fil-A is looking to provide outdoor seating for 14 people and a "drive-thru, multilane fulfillment facility," the Courier Post reports.

There are already Chick-fil-A restaurants on Haddonfield Road and at 1749 Marlton Pike East and 2020 Marlton Pike West in Cherry Hill.

Truett Cathy founded Chick-fil-A in Georgia in 1946, and generally operate 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. They now have more than 2,500 locations throughout the United States and Canada.
