Part of Route 70 in Cherry Hill is closed after a pedestrian was reportedly struck by a car on Friday.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Part of Route 70 in Cherry Hill is closed after a pedestrian was reportedly struck by a car on Friday.
All lanes of Route 70 west are lanes closed and detoured Route 644/Grove Street/Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill due to police activity, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. The left eastbound lane is also closed in the area. Drivers should follow the detour or plan an alternate route.
A pedestrian was struck in the eastbound lane, KYW Newsradio reported via Twitter. Cherry Hill police referred comment to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office. A spokesperson for the prosecutor's office wasn't immediately available for comment.
