Person Fatally Struck On White Horse Pike In Camden Co.: Officials

LAWNSIDE, NJ — A vehicle fatally struck a man Wednesday night on the White Horse Pike, officials said.

The crash happened at 8:17 p.m. on the White Horse Pike (Route 30) in Lawnside, according to public data.

The vehicle struck the man while he was crossing the roadway, said Lawnside Police Cpt. William E. Plenty. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was in his early to mid-70s, Plenty told Patch. Police are withholding his name as of late Thursday morning.
