Police Chase onto Rt. 42 Ends in 'High Risk' Stop of Stolen Car
Gloucester Township police made the arrest with the assistance of the state police.

Gloucester Township officers arrested two men in a stolen car Saturday evening after a "high risk" stop on Route 42 northbound, police said.
Michael Sees, 41, of the 400 block of Roosevelt Avenue, in the Glendora section of Gloucester Township, and Shaun Jones, 34, of the 100 block of West Industrial Boulevard in Bridgeton, were arrested without incident once the car was pulled over near the Bellmawr state police barracks shortly after 5 p.m.
The highway was closed briefly during the incident, which saw assistance from state troopers. The car was reported stolen out of Millville.
Police said they spotted the vehicle near Roosevelt Avenue in Glendora and were watching it when Sees and Jones allegedly got in and drove off. A patrol car followed but couldn't pull them over before they reached the highway, police said.
Sees and Jones were charged with receiving stolen property. Jones was additionally charged with possession of a hypodermic needle. Both were held at the Camden County Jail on $20,000 bail.
