Police Investigation In Cherry Hill Neighborhood Underway

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A residential street in Cherry Hill has an increased police presence because of an investigation, authorities said on Tuesday afternoon.

Cherry Hill police are conducting the investigation on Sherry Way, the department said around 3 p.m. in an advisory.

"You may notice an increased police presence as officers work to gather information," the CHPD said. "There is no threat to the public at this time."

Officials have not disclosed the nature of the investigation as of this writing.

Police asked the public to avoid the area if possible.

"Further updates will be provided as needed," the CHPD said.
