Power Restored After Hundreds Of Outages In Cherry Hill

The outage impacted nearly 500 homes and buildings, along with several traffic lights.

Update, 2:13 p.m.: Power has been restored in Cherry Hill, according to PSE&G.

The impacted traffic lights are now functioning properly, police said.


CHERRY HILL, NJ — Hundreds of homes and building have lost power Tuesday in Cherry Hill. Multiple traffic lights are also out.

There are 474 power outages in Cherry Hill as of 1:45 p.m. Tuesday — about 1.5 percent of the township, according to PSE&G. There are 105 in neighboring Voorhees.

Power is expected to return around 3 p.m., PSE&G says.

Two traffic signals are out on Evesham Road — one at Kresson Road and another at Brick Road — police said.

Officers are present at both intersections.

Drivers should seek alternate routes and avoid the area.
