PENNSAUKEN, NJ — A longtime staple of South Jersey's dining scene will reopen this week after months of renovations.

The Pub in Pennsauken will reopen at 4 p.m. Friday, the restaurant says. Repairs and renovations have kept the steakhouse closed since the beginning of July.

The Pub first opened its Airport Circle location in 1951, serving as a well-known dining destination for people driving to and from Camden and Philadelphia. The massive, Tudor-style building seats up to 500 and has a giant open hearth with charcoal-fired ovens.
