Regional Job Fair At Cherry Hill Mall Set For Friday Morning

More than 60 employers are expected to participate in the fall job fair at the Cherry Hill Mall on Friday.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — More than 60 employers are expected to participate in the fall job fair at the Cherry Hill Mall on Friday, according to county officials. The fair will take place in the Nordstrom Corridor of the mall, 2000 Route 38 in Cherry Hill, 10:30 a.m.

“During this time period where demand for employees is outweighing supply in the employment market, we hope this event will be the catalyst to connect qualified applicants with a new job and ease some of the burden on employers looking for help,” Camden County Commissioner Jonathan Young said. “This is the first we have hosted an in-person event since the start of the pandemic, and we are hoping to make connections with more than 60 employers on Friday. To say a job fair is needed right now is a severe understatement.”

The Camden County Board of Commissioners is partnering with the Camden County One-Stop Resource Center and the Cherry Hill Mall for the event. There will also be representatives on hand who can offer advice on resume writing and the job search.

“We know the pandemic has set so many people back, but now is the time as the federal unemployment subsidy expired over Labor Day, now is the time to get back in the job market,” Young said. “We also realize that navigating the job market can be a daunting task. We encourage anyone in the job-hunting process to attend the Camden County Fall Job Fair to take advantage of this free resource. We hope this event will mark the start of a new career for many on Friday morning.”
