Road-Rage Knife Fight Leads to Arrest in Marlton, Police Say

No one was hurt in the incident, police say, and a Marlton resident was arrested and charged.

A road-rage incident led to a knife fight in the middle of a residential street Thursday afternoon, Evesham Township Police said.

No one was hurt in the altercation, police said, which happened just before 4 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue, when two men got in an argument over what police said were claims of reckless driving through the neighborhood.

The man who was accused of being the reckless driver, Nicholas Tusman, 34, went to his home, grabbed a large knife and threatened two people before running off, police said.

Officers got an arrest warrant for Tusman, who turned himself in around 10 p.m., police said. A search of his home turned up the knife, as well as brass knuckles, police said.

Tusman was charged with third-degree aggravated assault, third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and fourth-degree making terroristic threats.

He was taken to the Burlington County Jail in default of $60,000 full cash bail.
