Serious Crash Closes I-295, Several Ramps In South Jersey: NJDOT

BELLMAWR, NJ — A serious crash has closed all lanes of I-295 northbound in Camden County, along with nearby ramps onto the highway, officials said Saturday.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area and seek alternate ways to get to their destination. Detours are also in place.

According to the New Jersey Department of Transportation, I-295 northbound is closed and detoured at I-76 westbound. A crash involving a tractor-trailer was reported in the area shortly before 1 p.m., per 511nj.org.

Also as of 3 p.m., both the eastbound and westbound ramps from I-76 onto I-295 north are closed, and so is the ramp from Route 42 north to I-295 north.
